This Vintage Nine Patch Pattern is a true scrap quilt. There is such a large variety of blue and off white prints I lost count!
The quilt consists of 1,944 1" squares and 224 3" squares. That's a lot of cutting!
The traditional quilting gives this quilt a beautiful vintage look. Each star center has a quilted feather wreath. The 5" borders are quilted with curly feathers. The quilt body is cross-hatched and has continuous curves, forming circles.
The backing is a small blue and white shirting print.
Binding is blue print. Machine applied and hand stitched to the back.
All new 100% cotton fabrics and batting.
